  • May 2, 5:30 - 8:30 PM - Opening reception for my solo show at DIVA - 3/32" : Wide Variety in a Narrow Medium. DIVA is located at 110 West Broadway, in Eugene, Oregon. Stop by if you can, I promise you won't be disappointed. More here

  • My book is now available: "Morphogenisis: explorations of form and function in metal"

  • My sculpture, "Sarcrogenesis" has been juried into the Pacific Northwest Arts Annual, which opens May 1 at the EMU Cultural Center, University of Oregon.

  • June 2008: Guest Curator for a show at the Eugene Airport Gallery. Theme will be Olympics, to coincide with the 2008 Olympic Track and Field Trials, being held in Eugene. Show will be called "Let the Games Begin"

  • May 2008: Solo show at DIVA in Eugene: 3/32" - explorations of form within a narrow medium

  • May/April 2008: My sculpture "Wired", has been selected as the mascot for Bring Recycling's Earth Day Art Show (juried)

  • April 2008: Invited to participate in "Different Spokes", sponsored by the Mary Lou Zeek Gallery in Salem, OR. It's an invitational show of 15 sculptors from the Northwest, in which bicycle parts are incorporated into the work. My piece, "Bio-Cycle", is here.

  • January 2008: Sundance Film Festival will be premiering the movie "Half-Life" , which has one of my sculptures in the movie. Their website and movie trailer is here. The sculpture in the movie is a modified version of this Manta Ray.

  • December 2007: Working on several commissions, and creating new work for the 3/32" show in May.
  • October 2007: I have been commissioned by Lane County Mental Health Services to create 2 memorial benches, to honor the late Richard K. Sherman, a tireless advocate for the mentally ill. The benches and memorial are completed, and will be installed at a Dedication Ceremony in Spring 2008 (date announced here when firmed up)

  • October 2007: I was asked to donate art work to "Extreme Makeover - Home Edition" television show, for their renovation of a house in Corvallis, Oregon for the Byers family. The episode aired on October 9. Photo of sculpture in their house here.

  • Sept 2007: 2 sculptures selected by the jury for "Sculpture without Walls" show in Moses Lake, WA. Show is outdoors through Sept. 2008. Photos and info here.
