The Cheshire Cat sculpture was commissioned by someone who lived in Blue River, Oregon, and whose beautiful home and property were completely destroyed in the Holiday Farm Fires in Sept 2020. The Cat mostly survived! Except for the teeth – those were made from old piano keys which were wood with a plastic veneer that melted. Gave the cat a wicked look like it was foaming at the mouth…
