April / May 2026 - The Museum of Techno Art Group Exhibition

2026 Traveling Exhibition

Exostoria Mechanica : Lost Fragments

Exhibiting Artists: Joe Mross,  Alan Ott,  Neal Conner, Barbora Bakalarova,  Ralf Huber,  Robert Bolman,  Steve La Riccia

Exostoria Mechanica is a speculative discipline established in the 1880s and devoted to mechanical artifacts of uncertain origin and function. A curious fraternity of devoted, discreet investigators examines devices, illustrations, and relics whose unresolved purposes trace incomplete, conflicting, and arcane histories. These wondrous objets, on display here, were long misfiled (or discreetly concealed) in forgotten dusty warehouses.

Exo = outer/beyond

Storia = story, history, account, narrative

The Museum of Techno Art (MTA) is a collective of dreamers and makers, showcasing art with technology and industrial themes. Reflecting on the history of human invention, retrofuturism, and imaginative machines of the future, MTA brings traveling exhibitions that spark delight and inspiration. Using a wide variety of traditional processes and their industrial derivatives, which actually span millennia, they create one-of-a-kind sculptures, assemblages, and whimsical wall pieces—imagining and reimagining artifacts from possible futures, distant pasts, industrial influences, and repurposed consumer debris. Their vision transcends genres, united by a shared dedication to creating exceptional art experiences that bring fun, excitement, and wonder to every space they exhibit.

The Westside District Art Hop is every First Saturday of the Month, and Dec 6 is the sixth time for this spectacular art event!

Pump up your bike tires, round up your art-loving friends, and tour the many exciting businesses and art galleries sprinkled throughout the West Eugene Warehouse District.

The Warehouse District Art Hop is a brand new gathering of folks who have creative & community oriented businesses in West Eugene. We aim to spark connection, creativity, and play while spotlighting support and recognition for the arts & artists in our community. Most of our participating artists have been in business for near to, or over a decade, and while our event is new, our participants are not.

The Art Hop showcases West Eugene’s many talented artists, musicians and business owners and hopes to bring awareness to Eugene residents how much this area just minutes from downtown has to offer. August 2nd will be the first of a monthly art event that encourages art goers to hop on their bikes or carpool with friends to enjoy scavenger hunts, live music, and a wide array of exhibits, collaborations, and special events.
From Noon-9pm, folks can hop from one locally owned West Eugene business to another using a digital map and itinerary of participating locations. Business hours and events will be available via our social media pages @warehousedistrictarthop on instagram, to start, as well as here on our Facebook page!
